Welcome from the Deputy Head of Senior School

At Brighton College (Singapore), we pride ourselves on developing a lifelong love of learning in our Senior School pupils. We promote a rich and stimulating learning environment whereby pupils become intellectually curious, confident and kind children with the skills and attitudes to be successful lifelong achievers.

We pride ourselves on our innovative curriculum. Our passionate and knowledgeable teachers have designed an academically rigorous and stimulating curriculum which engages, challenges and supports our pupils within the classroom and beyond. As pupils progress in their academic journey towards IGCSE and A-levels, they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to tackle the challenges of 21st century learning.

We look forward to welcoming you and your child into our dynamic and innovative Senior School, and we wish them the absolute best on their academic journey.

Building a Community

From Year 7, our pupils will join our Senior School, where they will be supported and guided by their Form Tutor to nurture their academic and personal development. Within this supportive community, pupils begin the task of discovering where life will take them. Form Tutors ensure that all pupils thrive and flourish in their chosen academic subjects, taking advantage of the many opportunities offered to them, and are supported every step of the way.

At the start of their journey at Brighton College (Singapore), every pupil joins one of our four Houses: Chichester, Fenwick, Hampden and Ryle. Each House has its own identity and builds a community spirit across a range of Year Groups. Pupils are invited to compete in a range of sporting, academic and creative activities to represent their House. Lifelong friendships are formed.

Leadership roles

At Brighton College (Singapore), we nurture leadership in every pupil. In Senior School, pupils can take on roles such as Head Boy, Head Girl, Prefects, House Captains, and Subject Ambassadors. These positions reflect our core values of kindness, curiosity, and confidence while helping pupils develop responsibility and teamwork skills.

To ensure every pupil has the chance to lead, we rotate leadership roles each term. Our Well-being Ambassadors also play a vital role in promoting kindness and support across the College, working closely with Prep School’s Pelican Pals to enhance our community’s overall well-being.

Learning for Life

Our Personal, Social, Health and Moral Education (PSHME) curriculum empowers pupils with the skills and confidence to lead healthy and independent lives. Weekly PSHME sessions and thematic assemblies encourage discussion and reflection on topics such as relationships, staying safe, and well-being. By fostering self-awareness and resilience, we prepare pupils to make informed decisions and navigate life’s challenges with integrity.

Preparing for Life

At Brighton College (Singapore), we prepare pupils not just for exams but for life.  Beyond traditional subjects, we teach essential study techniques, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure academic success and career readiness.

Connections for Life

Our commitment to our pupils does not just stop after they leave us. All Brighton College pupils get to join the Old Brightonians network, with over 8,500 members worldwide.

Every pupil becomes part of Brighton College Connect, a global networking platform that includes an events programme, formal dinners, reunion drinks, sporting events and is a great launch pad for professional networking.

Whether it is finding an internship, preparing for a job interview or making connections with experts in the field, you will find this community invaluable.
