INTERMEDIATE
Our English Language Support (Intermediate) programme is designed to ensure that pupils are fully integrated into the mainstream classroom while receiving tailored support from our team of English language support specialists. This holistic approach encourages pupils to learn alongside their peers, supported both in class and through additional language instruction.
From Reception to Year 9, pupils receive personalised support that varies based on needs. Our EAL specialists collaborate with class teachers to provide both small group or individual ‘pull-out’ sessions, as well as with ‘push-in’ support to enhance language development.
Sometimes, pupils take part in one-on-one or small group English lessons outside the main classroom. These personalised sessions focus on improving speaking skills, providing tailored support from our EAL specialist to ensure every pupil gets the attention they need to succeed.
In ‘push-in’ sessions, the EAL Specialist joins the class to support pupils as they learn alongside their peers. This approach enables pupils to participate in the core curriculum, collaborate with classmates, and practice key social communication skills, all within the context of the lesson. The aim is to boost linguistic confidence while supporting both social and academic growth.
Please find below the details of our School Tuition (course) Fees for the 2024/ 2025 academic school year and information about other fees associated with joining the College. Please note that there are three terms per academic year.
The best way to experience what life is like at Brighton College (Singapore) is to join us at an Open House, where you will have the chance to talk to pupils and teachers about what makes our school such a special place, and to answer any questions you have about life here.
