Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Ms. Lan began teaching as a Mandarin teacher at Brighton College (Singapore) in 2022. She earned a postgraduate diploma in Education from University of West Florida, a B.A. from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, a master degree from the Catholic University of Leuven. Ms. Lan has experience in Early Childhood and bilingual education in Singapore. She believes children are active learners who learn by doing. She is passion about teaching Mandarin in an authentic setting where students enjoy to participate, explore and learn the rich Chinese heritage of Singapore.

Ms. Lan lives in Singapore with her husband and 3 children since 2013. When not at school, Ms Lan loves sailing and participates in Sailing Regattas.
