Pippa graduated with a BSc in Sports Science and Physiology from the University of Leeds in 2007. After some voluntary work with children in Guatemala and then on a Native American reservation in South Dakota, Pippa decided to embark on a career in education. She then completed her PGCE at the University of Hertfordshire.
Pippa started teaching in London, where she became a Specialist Leader of Education in Mathematics for the borough of Camden. This role included supporting other schools in curriculum and staff development. Shortly after, she was appointed Deputy Headteacher of a community school in St Albans.
In 2018, Pippa moved to Singapore and worked at two other leading British schools on the Island. In her most recent post, she was appointed assistant headteacher, led a pastoral care team and was a designated safeguarding lead. More recently, Pippa has focused the majority of her time on raising her fun-loving and curious daughter Georgia and teaching part-time at an international school in Switzerland.
Pippa believes that all children should be given the opportunity to flourish regardless of starting point. She is skilled at creating positive and inclusive classroom environments where children feel valued and safe to take risks. Pippa is proud to have supported countless children in making incredible progress both academically and socially.
In her spare time, Pippa enjoys being outdoors with her husband, daughter and adopted street dog Twain. The family love to swim, cycle and trek the forest trails. Pippa is so happy to be back in Singapore and to experience the island through her daughter’s eyes.
