Tom Handley

Tom graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a BA Honours in Primary Education in 2010. He started his teaching career in a junior school in Wakefield, close to his hometown of Leeds. During his time at university, he had a taste of international education- as part of his Erasmus exchange placement- working in an international school in Norway.

Tom has had the privilege of working in several schools across the world, including as a founding member of an international school in Hong Kong and, more recently, in Singapore, where he spent an enjoyable two years.

Tom believes passionately in promoting character, self-esteem and holistic wellbeing in his pupils. He believes that this goes hand-in-hand with academic success and works hard to help his pupils achieve their full potential.

Beyond the classroom, Tom enjoys supporting his beloved Arsenal FC, travelling with friends and family, and is also keen to rekindle his love for running—something that has been somewhat neglected in recent years!
