Today, we had the honour of welcoming His Excellency, Mr. Nikesh Mehta, British High Commissioner to Singapore UK in Singapore, to Brighton College (Singapore). From the moment he arrived, it was clear this would be an inspiring encounter for our pupils.
During his visit, His Excellency met with our Head of College, Mr Nick Davies, and captivated our Senior School pupils with stories from his 22-year diplomatic journey—spanning Iraq, Uganda, Malaysia, and now Singapore. He spoke of leadership in times of crisis, the power of diplomacy, and the importance of climate change education, even sharing how he worked with global icons like BLACKPINK to drive awareness on this pressing issue.
Beyond the insights and experiences, what resonated most was his message about resilience, adaptability, and the impact one can have on the world. As a token of this special occasion, each pupil received a Singapore/UK pin—a small but meaningful reminder of the day they engaged with a leader shaping global conversations.

The second day of the Brighton College International School Games was a celebration of confidence, skill, and determination.
