Curiosity was buzzing at this week’s Pufflings Parent and Toddler Club as our young guests explored the fascinating world of mini beasts.
Through sensory play, songs and stories during circle time, and hands-on art activities, children discovered insects and creepy crawlies in wonderfully creative ways - from bug hunts in the sensory tray to making their own play dough insects and helping to feed a very hungry caterpillar.
Pufflings Parent and Toddler Club is a free weekly session during term time for children aged 12 months to 3.5 years, and we would love to welcome you over the coming weeks.

𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝘿𝙖𝙮 📚
To mark World Book Day, our pupils celebrated their love of reading by taking on Extreme Reading Challenges, exchanging stories through the ReadCycle Book Swap, and and by arriving dressed as their favourite book characters. Our pupils also took part in Book in a Box, bringing beloved stories to life inside beautifully decorated shoeboxes.
A huge thank you to our pupils, parents and teachers for making the celebrations such a success. Together, we not only nurtured a love of reading but also embraced the spirit of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. 🌍💚

🧧🐎 Celebrating the Year of the Horse 🐎🧧
Today our College community came together in a joyful celebration of the Lunar New Year, welcoming the Year of the Horse with colour, music and heartfelt pride.
Pupils from PCP, Year 1, Year 3, Year 5 and our Senior School took to the stage with wonderful songs, graceful dances and beautifully spoken poems. Each performance was a glimpse into the rich cultural learning taking place in classrooms across the College, confident, thoughtful and full of spirit.
A special thank you to our dedicated Mandarin Department for curating such a meaningful and memorable celebration.

Our Pufflings Club is open to all children from 12 months to 3 years old. Sessions are held every Wednesday between 9.00am – 10.00am. Pufflings is free for everyone, and families are welcome to register for as many sessions as they wish, subject to availability.

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Louis Alexander, Brighton Pelican Pathway Ambassador and two-time Guinness World Record holder, back to the College.
The day began with our Prep School Assembly, centred on a shared commitment to improvement. The focus was on celebrating progress and recognising the value of steady improvement. This was followed by time in classrooms, where pupils spoke with pride about the Pelican Pathway values and how they shape everyday life at the College.
Throughout the day, Louis spent time with our Senior School pupils exploring the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, resilience and the many pathways ahead. These thoughtful and open conversations encouraged pupils to reflect, ask questions and think boldly about their futures. Alongside time with staff, leadership and parents, the focus remained clear and shared. Supporting young people as they navigate an ever changing world.
We are proud of this partnership and the difference it continues to make across the College, strengthening our community and helping our pupils grow with confidence and clarity.
