Natasha was born in Bedfordshire and spent the first ten years of her school life at Kimbolton School, Cambridgeshire. For Sixth form, she moved to Uppingham School, Leicestershire and went on to study for a BA in Geography at Exeter University. After graduating from university, Natasha spent a year living in North London while completing her Teach First qualification before moving to South West London, where she has lived for the past seven years. At her previous school, where she was for four years, she was Assistant Head of Personal Development and Curriculum Director of Humanities, and Natasha currently works as a Geography Teacher at James Allen’s Girls School in Dulwich, which has recently been voted London Independent Secondary School of the Year.
Natasha feels extremely fortunate to be in the education sector and genuinely believes teaching is the best job in the world! School was an incredibly happy part of her life, and it has had a significant impact on making her the person she is today. Whilst academic results are clearly of enormous importance, it is essential that pupils gain a well-rounded education where they can learn life-long skills which will prepare them for any challenges they may face in the future. The best part of teaching is providing pupils with the tools they need to succeed, delving into the topics that interest them, watching them grow in confidence and, of course, helping pupils bring their learning to life outside the classroom.
